Food and cocktails were amazing, I highly recommend the pickle martini and the mushroom chittarra was amazing. Great draft beer selection as well.
However the atmosphere and service left a lot to be desired. This is a personal preference, but don’t love that they’re all communal tables (especially at this price point!). The folks next to us were incredibly loud and we could barely hear ourselves talk.
It took so long for them to seat us despite having reservations, they brought out the wrong drinks (happens! Totally understand) but took so long to come back with the right order. The waiter didn’t really check on much — we had plans after and unfortunately weren’t able to get desert because of how slow the service was.
A neat spot for a craft cocktail. Stopped in after lunch for a couple of drinks and we were not disappointed! The service was top notch and the cocktail menu was great and had something for everyone. A wide selection of liquors and house made mixers! We didn't stay for food but what we did see come out looked great as well!
Drinks are amazing, service was wonderful and that burger!!! The vibe is very chill. I went with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while and it was the perfect spot to sit and catch up without feeling like we’re being rushed out. The fried olives are also on point.
Had an amazing time at Union on a Thursday night after work. Kevin did an exceptional job taking care of us. The burger lives up to the hype! It’s hard to explain why it’s so good but I will literally return to Union just for that alone. The drinks were delicious (we tried the gold rush and pinky promise). We really liked the communal table setup as well and ended up talking to the people sitting next to us for a little while. Overall, what a great way to spend a Thursday night! Would highly recommend checking them out if you’re in Logan Square.
My friends and I were able to get reservations on a Saturday for 8 people. We ordered a lot of food and shared it family style. We also ordered a lot of drinks. We had the fried olives, dirty pimento, papas bravas, lamb & pistachio meatballs, green garlic fettuccine, wood grilled pork chop and hanger steak. We also ordered all the desserts. Our top favorites were the hanger steak, pork chop, meatballs, pimento, and the desserts. All of the cocktails that we ordered were so good! Definitely will be coming back
Great addition to the already great restaurant scene in Logan Square. Cocktails were great. Food was thoughtfully made. Rustic, old-school atmosphere inside. Will definitely be back.
Wow, the food is delicious! We ordered four dishes and everything tasted so good. I especially loved the black cod with shredded root slaw, green beans and pancetta broth. I had a moment similar to Remy in the movie Ratatouille, where fireworks go off in his mind after tasting a beautiful blend of flavors and textures. Friendly service, fun cozy space, great list of whiskies and beers.
Hyped restaurant with showed promise. Salads were delicious. My Cavatappi was terrible - unappetizing and poorly presented. My husbands Burger was greasy and over salted and the Scallops and Grits were salty and a very uninspired mix. If you are looking for good food - this is not the place.
